The lattice package has graphics that are a bit more advanced than R base allows. This includes graphs such as: strip plots, violin plot, scatter 3D plot, among others.
The ggvis package allows you to customize your plots with additional functionality, such as: layering, interactive graphics, among others.
This is the core graphing package in R, with a number of complimentary functions to customize how your data displays.
